Paul Newman

Paul Newman

I first discovered the Hot Manness of Paul Newman when I watched the 1958 film adaptation of Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Those steamy, angst filled looks he'd give Elizabeth Taylor, like a panther waiting to pounce on his prey (imagining I am the prey helps with this fantasy).
Paul Newman defines old school Hollywood glamour. Here are just a few reasons why he's our featured man this week.

1. His eyes

2. Likes to break the rules

3. Knows how to work a lean

4. Looks fine in winter

5. Looks damn fine in summer

6. Rocks that furrowed brow look when he reads

7. Knows how to make you laugh

8. Is the original and hotter version of Matthew McConaughey

8. Was married to the same woman for 50 years

9. Used his excellent face to brand an excellent condiments company -
Where all profits go to charity. Basically he's amazing.

A man who gives back = some high stakes Hot Manness.

David Duchovny

David Duchovny

So recently I've been indulging in the TV series Californication. I have two episodes to go before the new season is released next month. There were ups, there were downs (Season 1 & 2 are gold, Season 5 is the worst piece of shit since Two Broke Girls). But there was one saving grace through it all: Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny.

At first glance you may not agree, he certainly doesn't have the symmetrical hotness of say, Johnny Depp (the early years) but it's his swagger that really brings it home for the ladies.

Ok so he looks kind of old here but don't let it fool you.
Further proof of hot man-ness:

1. Knows how to drive you places

2. Doesn't let his rock hard abs distract him from preventing sun damage

3. Knows how to make a good cup of tea

4. Knows when you need some schooling

5. Looks good in speedos
That shit is hard to pull off

6. Also looks good naked

7. He is a most talented actor
And we all know that talent = Hot Man-ness

Keep checking out the blog ladies!
Plenty more man-ness to come xx

Robert Plant

Robert Plant

For the inaugural post on my little love child blog, I'd like to pay tribute to the great Robert Plant.

So damn fine.

Some reasons for his fine man-ness:

1. Dashing on stage

2. Excellent with mammals

3. Can grow outstanding facial hair

4. Always DTF

5. Medium-large sized bulge.
(Note: the bulge appears larger because he's a rock star)

6. He was part of, pretty much, the greatest rock'n'roll band ever.

And we all know that being a talented musician = essential man-ness.

Stay tuned for the next post on Hot Man-ness
as we explore some whiskey-drinking,
cali-fornicating, bulge-donning man-ness.
Can you guess who our next featured man is??

What is Man-ness?

I've spent many an hour on my laptop and iphone scrolling through pictures of attractive male celebrities. Often my google search will develop into something like this:

Christian Bale
Christian Bale young
Christian Bale hot
Christian Bale sexy
and inevitably...
Christian Bale top off

And you know what I thought to myself? I thought, girl, it's time you turned this hobbie into a half-way decent blog where other bored young ladies (or gentlemen) can find precisely what they're looking for at home alone on a Thursday night: some Man-ness.

Man-ness is not simply a word, it's the embodiment of all things we love about men from their intelligence to their ability to grow facial hair, from their charm to their bulges.

So please enjoy the Hot Man-ness that in these pages follow.
